Hi,
I have recently sent in an application to the RAF, I have had an email to say I do not qualify,
''You must be resident in the UK for 5 years immediately prior to submitting your application to be eligible to apply''
I have been living in Spain for the past 2 years but still a resident of the UK, do you think they may have misunderstood or are they correct ?

If you've been living in Spain for the last 2 years then you haven't been resident in the UK, you've been a resident of Spain, you are still a British citizen of course but you haven't been living here, that's what resident means...
Buck91, please type in English. I get the impression from what you attempted to post that you're advising people to lie on their applications - this is about the worst thing you can possibly do.

You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.

Is all that I have
And the life that I have
Is yours
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.
