Do paras having a training beret?

I have mates down at lympstone doing there RM training and i know they get navy blue berets during training. Does the paras get berets during training? For drills and such like.

So you mean on day 1 of my training i get my maroon beret? Also i got told that when you pass out theres a chance that you might not get your jump wings for a little while.

You get your Beret once you pass off the square at week 6, albeit with a green backing behind the Capbadge to show you've not passed P Coy. For the 1st 6 weeks though you have to wear a c@#t cap

ahhh those crappy clothed, floppy peaked, crow caps. you may as well wear a bag on your head. In 4 Para, the recruit has to wear it all the way up untill he finds out if he has passed or failed P-Coy, essentially last day of training (unless they have changed it since my day of course).

There's a troop at CTC right now wearing the old mk6 instead of berets all day for messing up somehow... :lol:

i swear they dont wash the cuñt caps, when you get them they're honking, stained and a pile of wänk. We were in vimmy so we were with all the hats, so we were looking forward to passing off even more!

To right mucker! They worst is when the thing doesn't fit, so you end up ripping the back of it and sewing some black elastic on it, which always looks s@*t, so your constantly getting beasted for it! :D
