ARMY EXPERIENCE FOR TV DOCUMENTARY

Post by rawtelevision »

Hi there

My name is Tom and I work for Raw TV, one of the UK’s leading documentary production companies. We produce award-winning factual television for all the major UK and US networks. Our shows include the drama-doc series ‘Banged Up Abroad’ and the Emmy award-winning youth issues show ‘Battlefront’.

I'm currently working on a pitch for the BBC about what it's like to be in the army and fighting abroad - and what it's like to be home afterwards. Would you do anything differently if you could go back to the battlefield, did you have much contact with civilians, and would any of you want to go back to the places where you served (for cathartic purposes/unfinished business?)?

Thank you for taking the time to read this. If any of you have the time to answer these few questions, then please do comment or PM me - it'd be great to have a chat and hear your stories

Thanks again

tom

Purely my opinion Marti88, but I'd check with your AFCO before getting yourself involved with the media for anything related to the military.
You can have peace.
Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.
