Phys Ed Officer

Post by dave88 »

Just a few questions...

1.) Are they looking for the same high level of fitness with phys ed officer as they are with PTI?

2.) What should be the longest distance i should run? at the moment my max is 3miles, just wondering if i should be getting used to longer distances?

Thanks Very Much everyone

A few answers...

1) Yes

2) Don't think there's an exact answer to that, but I would say you should be able to do at least 10k. Yes, you need to be able to do more than 3 miles.

PEdO's do really have a desk job, but they can get involved in lots of adventurous training and expeds etc. They need to be at least as fit as the PTIs, otherwise they aren't going to command a huge amount of respect... Lead by example and all that!
