The Rifles March
I know the Rifles march quicker than the rest of the army (so I read) but is this how they do it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wroMnnLD ... =1&index=7 I think it looks abit daft because they look like they are doing an excercise to warm up for pt or something would they do this at a pass out parade? I'm going for Para reg now but I am just curious.

You misunderstood the video mate.
The men at the start and finish are at the double.
The march in the middle is a demonstration of the Light Regiments faster marching pace.

4.50 on the video, listen "Sound the double."
What looks daft is about history and the role the light Infantry played.
