Due to cutbacks its now one chute between two, he who hits the ground hardest fails.

i get the feeling boys noone wants to tell us, and im fairly shore we wont find out what this "change" is so we might as well get used that fact for the moment, instead use this fact as an incentive to be ever more prepared for training since we dont know whats coming!

To be honest mate, getting this training thing isnt going to really help you? How will it prepare you for Depot? The way i see it, i'll turn up at Depot and just crack on.

i think iv found the new programme lads from another post on the other para forum

this is the link:

http://www.army.mod.uk/training_educati ... 11743.aspx

it looks like it starts off with lots of 5 milers as part of the pt training, so theres a clear bench mark to work towards in terms of running, the rest looks as i expected with lots admin and weapon stuff that we dont have to worry about for now. however somewhere on here it says the maroon beret is given to recruits in week six if they pass off the square, im sure that wasnt the case in the past
:o

what are your views on the programme boys?

Twas my post I do believe  anyone fancy having a crack at my questions? and the marron beret is given to the recruits at the end of week 6 but with a green backing that can only be taken off after p-coy is passed.
