stupid minor conviction info

Post by GestaltO »

OK so over the past 12 months i have received 2 abatement notices for having dog crap on my drive (my neighbor is an ass) the times that the Environmental Health came to inspect it was still there due to numerous reasons. basically i have received a fine for this and i'm awaiting another one after pleading guilty by letter.

OK so i am going to ask the AFCO obviously, but wanted peoples opinions on this as from what ive read a fine is classed as an unspent conviction for 5 years. But surely something this minor shouldn't go against me. Other than that theres nothing on my record.

I'm already possibly not going to be able to get in due to eyesight (opticians tomorrow to then be forwarded to the AFCO) this would be a proper thorn in my side having to wait 5 years. I'll be 30!

I've read about people having common assault charges and one for joyriding that were unspent and they were allowed in what do you guys reckon?

I was arrested while I was applying back in 06 for being drunk and disorderly, recieved an £80 fine and spent a night in the cells. First thing I did the next day was inform the AFCO in person. Didn't have any problems.
All the best mate.
