You need to worry about your ADSC thats what will get you in or out of afc, when are you 16?

also from what i saw in another post, if those times are accurate and the strength you have is accurate, do well in team exercises and ice breaker also in your interviews and id say your in, your fitness is exemplary alot of people get in with fitness thats not as good as yours,

im also going for afc sept 09 ;)

Yeah ok dont mean to be abit dumb but adsc is army development selection course??

and yeah apparently it is very tight for para afc theres not much places.

i think i got quite good things for interview i have things from cadets and certificates but not very good report from school lol.

i am 16 in august and i got another meeting with my careers person next week to finish some paper work.

also i got a 2 day insight course in august after im sixteen.

But how is my fitness good ....like in what areas?

You said you can do 20 heaves, chin ups what ever you would like to call them, this is good for adsc also your run time in around 7mins is good.

Don't take school report with you if its not good. haha :D

Yes ADSC is army developement selection centre.
and i dont think you will make the September intake for AFC Harrogate if your 16 in August as the process of it all takes around 6 months. so you could be going in January intake to AFC Harrogate.

Yeah mate see if you can start it now and then you could possible go straight in onec your 16. and therefore make the September intake to AFC Harrogate. But selection, i thought you had to be 16 for it?

Sorry tobyj I was reffering to Daggers but good to hear, I guess you have your intake soon?

To go to ADSC you have to be at least 15 and 7 months old and when you turn up at your Training you have to be at least 16 and 3 months old although my recruiter tells me this is nothing to worry about as waivers can be signed.

Is it true that if you want to go to harrogate afc there is only one time to beat in the 1.5 mile run, no matter what you want to join as?
I have also been told that you get judged on the effore you put in rather than the time and amount of things you actually do is this true?

Hey yeah i asked my careers officer the same question if i go in as para into afc harrogate will i have to do the 9:18 time to get in.

The awnser is no all people going into harrogate have to beat 14:00 minutes no matter what regiment you join as.

Thanks
