What does anyone think about the reasons behind the political correct brigade raving about Harry and his dad using the words 'Paki' and 'Sooty'?
Is this yet another pop at our monarchy by the 'enemy within'? I think so.
I remember when 'Fanny' was a girls name and most black dogs were called an offensive name that nobody thought twice about. My dad was called 'Paddy' but his name was Jack. It didn't bother anyone because he was from Eire. I'll know when things have gone too far when 'Paddy' and 'Scouse' gets banned by the PC Brigade.
My golly! How times have changed.

The red top rags are making a real meal of this. These are the same papers that are happy calling 'people from France' Frogs when there's a air traffic control/ferry workers strike. Also happy to call Argies Argies, Wops or Dagos when it suits to meet a particular funny headline.

I haven't heard of the press  asking the guy himself what he thought about Harry's remark. Why his dad took 3 years to take offence is another question. Maybe he's only just seen the video. But, again, has he asked his son about it?

Looks like another case of people being offended on behalf of someone else who didn't actually give a fcuk.
I found a pretty funny quote in a news article fromm some Army spokesman though, something about offensive language never being acceptable in the forces.
He's right, of course, I've never heard a squaddie swear!

In the forces nearly every one gets a nickname, mine has stuck with me for over 50 years. Most of them were a take of from your surname or where abouts in the country you came from.
Still talking about Harry I only hope he can remember the bloke who took the pictures then sold them on to the press

well, your in your team because thats what it is a team.... people give each other nicknames as long as your happy with it the why the F*** are people getting involved, im only 16 granted but even when i was younger age 5-10 things where so much more laid back!! there where things on tv, didnt phase me in the slightest but they are banned from being shown now....

also annoys me all the stuff going on has made parents worried to let children out to play.. this is bad for health and fitness, and social reasons, people are on computers far to much, granted i could get out more. but like fast food... its on demand

(i do not spend most of my life on my computer... i may have takeaway once every 2 weeks...)
