If an officer hoping to join the Paras fails P Company

In the event that an officer fresh out of Sandhurst failed P Company, what would happen? Would he just get posted to another Regiment, or does he have the right to try again, if he wishes to do so?

I believe just posted to another regiment.

I know there is alot of competition in Sandhurst to join the Parachute Regiment but i know in the past they used to give them another go. Whether or not they do that now, i dont know.

You get a second chance, if you fail twice you are sent to your second choice Regiment as selected for the RCB, assuming they want you of course.
