UKSF medical

Post by Grumbleweed »

Got a phonecall other day saying army doc wont pass me for selection. - from my doctors records. Didnt even see him/her to discuss!

What are the immediate end-ex for stopping an application? I have been to the doc about my back before - could this be it? Would it stop me appling for other TA units (outside UKSF)?

Regards

You must be passed fit for 'extremely arduous training.' Obviously many things can hamper that, your back could certainly be one such thing.

Now that you'd have to ask the doc, I don't know whether it's the same definition as for RM/Para/Infantry entry, although it is the same as some courses (eg. ML).

I think there is certain part of SF training that will take you beyond all form of 'usual' training so I guess it would be a body wrecker.

Really? And which part would you 'guess' that to be?

Wow.

Please maintain this attitude when you start basic, you will go a long way. Also there is a really good practical joke that your DS will love. Tell him you and the boys gang banged his missus, and she stank. Don't worry he'll understand it's just a joke.
