need a bit of help

hi im joining the royal Anglians, im from Norfolk, i start training on the 16th, and i have done my oath, they normally put norfolk lads in the 1st battalion (mehcanised infantry) but i want to do light role (2nd battalion) just wanted to know if i can still decide or is it too late?
i have been told you can decide at training, but have also been told i should have said something at the AFCO....... HELP

On Topic: I was in exactly the same boat earlier Shawlee(I'm from Norfolk) but after talking to my recruiter about it on an AFCO visit I was convinced mechanized might not be so bad. I'm still mulling over the question but as far as I can tell going for 2 R Anglian from a Norfolk recruiter isn't that much of a big issue.

Best head down to magdalen street and see what they say though I think

What stage are you at? I'm thinking more and more that I'll be headed that way as well. Hoping to do ADSC in the next month or two here
