Help PGAC Monday

Post by Wicksieboiirafreg »

Hi ive got my PGAC on monday and i have a problem.

This is my second try at it. I've been training on grass but find it extremly hard to do so. But the thing is i can go out on concrete and run forever but on grass i dont seem to last two miles.

Would i be safe just training on concrete and risk the grass does it make a difference or is it just my body being s**t.

If anyone can help i would apreciate it thanks. 8)

I don’t really know much about what makes it harder/easier but maybe you should try a different attitude towards it. If you go on grass thinking your gona get nackered then the chances are you are.. Try not thinking about it mate and just go for it!

Good luck

I think you've probably left it a bit late to do anything about it now!
Like Daz says, try a bit of Positive Mental Attitude, you might surprise yourself...
Best of luck.

Or you can have freedom.
Don't ever count on having both at once.

Of course running on grass is harder but very benificial in the fact that it increases your endurance plus less chance of injury. Just think positive on Monday, your body can do a lot more than what you might think.
1.5 Miles = 07.49
3.0 Miles = 17.06
5.0 Miles = 29.48
6.0 Miles = 35.39
10 Miles = 1.01.07
13.1 Miles = 1.21.35
Bleep Test = 15.4
