Making myself known to the forums. Plymouth born interested in the Royal Marines. Currently dragging myself slowly through the experience of the Yank university system.
I'm already finding a good deal of information etc on the site and i'm sure i will post any questions as they arise.

What University?
I would suggest joining as an officer if your finishing up University....if that's the route your looking for.
Stay away from the keg parties and get running mate!

University of Iowa, I am actually out there mainly thanks to a swimming scholarship so I'm getting drilled from that 24/7, the 'keggers' usually have to wait for the weekends!
I have considered the officer route and I am still thinking about which i would go for. Just considering the points of view etc.
