You get some weekends off, these will gradually increase as you go through training.

I think it is in phase two you don't have to sign in anymore on a saturday night, I can't really remember. You do work a fair few saturday mornings in phase one aswell.

You can get LWEL taken off you aswell, we got the one after Hunters moon replaced by a mud run, bivvy down bottom field, kit muster and locker inspection and rations for the first few days at straight point. Good times, good times :-? .

A typical Bootneck Weekend would kick off at 1400hrs Friday by the book. In truth most would be up and running come midday.

Your time is your time. Pusser (The Corps) leaves you to your own devices once your out of barracks. Just be ready these days to get a phone call saying "COME BACK, YOUR NEEDED" At least when I was in all they could give you was a beeper which nine times out of ten.......never worked!

Harsh! What for? Must have been pretty bad. Our Sgt threatened that and none of us believed him looks like he could have done it!
