Deffered for 6 months... Does anyone know the appeal process

Post by jawtec »

Hi

Ive just found out today i have been deffered for 6 months due to recently suffering a partial dislocation of my right shoulder, my doctor at the fracture clinic has told me he is willing to support me as much as he can and will inform the army i have made a full recovery & that there is no reason why i can not start immediately.

Has anyone appealed before, have any advice or know how the procedure works..

Thanks
James

It generally doesn't work im afraid to say. A few of my mates and myself have appealed although mine was for the marines im guessing the army will be a simliar process it took me 4 months to get a reply so not really worth bothering .

To be fair, he probably could give it a go. If nothing was seriously damaged when it happened and you're all good to go now, it's surely worth a crack, right?

Go for it mate!
Never give up on what you want; this is just a barrier, follow your dream of becoming a Para and go for it!

Appeal like theres no tommorow, and keep on at them about it aswell!
Good luck with it all.

Woody.
