Sahara Challenge

Post by batess01 »

Hi, my name's Seb and in 2 days I have my PRMC, but at the same time im training for this challenge.

I briefly spoke about it before on mfat, to raise some interest and get some opinions!! Since then we have raised over £1200 and have a lot in corporate sponsorship.

We haven't got long to raise the last £750+ to reach our aim of £2000 before the 28th October.

I will keep this forum/thread updated with training and the outcome of the challenge.

Good luck to anyone on PRMC 12th!!

Thanks!

No its not de sab'les, i dont think there is an official set up of this challenge, we just thought of doing it, and went for it. We are following Hannibals route over the Alps next winter.

Alright lads,

We did it!!

We managed to do it faster then we thought, but we were hanging out of our asses, for the whole 8 days out there we had the shits.

Living off:

Local Water
Local bread
Local cheese
Immodium pills
Oranges
some army rations from the attic

Great experience, and I learnt a lot.

£45 from our target!

Cheers.

Congratulations mate! Top effort...hope you make you’re target, I’ll see what I can do about donating some cash my self, have to lend some/wait till next week though as I’m penniless right now… Now go have a celebratory curry :o
