After a little advice...Have an application going through for paras...and much to my delight a month ago i managed to break my fibula in my ankle/leg.
The thing is i spoke to AFCO and he said its 12 months to wait before re-applying, but, he said because i have already sent my medicals away i can get round it by just getting upto fitness again and carrying on with the application, which if i take this route hopefully i can get things together a bit quicker than 12 months.
Has anyone ever had or done this before?
Obviously the second route would be most preferred but all i'm think is the implications if if they found i havent re-done a new medical form and declared it...would i not be in deep sh1t?
Cheers.

I don't think that advice is right to be honest mate. If you withdraw your application there shouldn't be any time restrictions for when you can apply again, especially since you're withdrawing it for injury.
The only time you usually have to wait for a certain time period is if you have failed part of the seclection process.
I've know people who have withdrawn their application cause they changed their mind but then went back a few months later and applied again with no bother.
Try speaking to one of the online advisors on the army website and ask them they may be able to help you out.
