For those of you living in the London area.....
I am going to stay in Central London soon for approx 4 weeks.
Can anyone suggest any places(parks or hills) that I could easily get the tube to, for off road running, hill sprints etc.
Cant afford to run on flat roads for a month.
Thanks in advance
Meister

Central London drua! Greenwich is miles away.
Two best running parks close in to Central are:
Hyde Park - west, in Kensington, go to Hyde Park Corner or Marble Arch tube. You can see the park from both.
Regent's Park - north of Marlybone Road, go to Regent's Park, Great Portland St. or Baker St. tube. All are right next to a park entrance.
If you are in accomodation a little further north, or if you want to go somewhere which has anything approaching cross country (bit of a hill, some scrub woods to run through), then you can try my stomping ground on Hampstead Heath, which is as good as London gets for running. Go to Hampstead or Highgate tube stops, but it's a 5-10 minute walk from each.
