Welcome to the site I did some sprint triathlons in the past, good way of getting all around fitness ideal really for any branch of the servicesImagirl wrote:OK, hobbies are compulsive cake baking and trying to avoid over-training for prospective triathlons. Not that I've attempted one yet (aimng for May).
Ah, yes, triathlon... the only event where a 'sprint' can last an hour.I did some sprint triathlons in the past
We put a team together for a charity dodgeball tournament last week (Red Nose Day) - games lasting 7 minutes each, and two of us were most amused when we overheard an unidentified spectator say that it was all about endurance
I managed a mod biathlon a couple of weeks back - 3km run, pause for two hours and then 200m swim. Good experience.
