Got my written test on thursday and on the list which tells me to bring stuff it says 4x passport photos why is this?

i havent got a clue mate. i didnt need to when i sat mine, ring your afco to find out.
pschometric test- passed
eye test- passed
interview-passed
medical -passed
pjft- 9.02

I had to take them in as well, still haven't the slightest why though. Do you have to go to the AFCO in Leicester town centre? They sent me a Crhistmas card :D

They only use one which is attached to your paperwork that's going to be sent down to Lympstone. You'll get the other 3 back during your prmc. Don't know why they ask for 4 though when they only use 1.

Must be just for identification purposes. They asked for mine when I went so i'd take em.

yeah I had to bring passport photos too. its not really a hard thing. so drop them in.

Yeah, much like everyone else mate, i was told to send four, and i got three back on my PRMC :-?

Do you guys think they will use the picture they kept on our ID's when we go for RT? Or do we get a nice new photo shoot for it? hahaha

I doubt they'll use the same photo for the id cards. I had a tache and goatee in mine, I don't know how happy they'll be about using that. That's the only thing i'm not looking forward to, losing my goatee. small price to pay. :cry:

Thats cool, because my photo was taken early in the mornning and i looked high on something lol (just to clarify i dnt do drugs or smoke :D )

They probably ask for four photos because it almost garantees that they will be up to date, recent photos... people may have 1 or 2 passport photos lying about their house, but no one would probably have 4, ensuring that you go out and get them done just before your written test.

Yeah you get new photos taken when you're down there for your Recruit ID card and leave passes :)

My afco asked for six when i went for my medical and he said that it is the photo used for your forces I.d!
