S.A.S links help

HI new to this forum

does anyone know of any good S.A.S websites on

how to join and other info.I had a look myself but couldn't find any good ones.

Welcome,

Apart from this website information on the UKs special forces is limited although here is a good start.

You can't just join the SAS though, you'll need to complete at least 3 years service with any military service (Army, Navy or RAF) before you can apply and attempted selection.

Alternatively you can apply straight from being a civilian to join the special forces reserves, info. here - Army link

I think your wrong on that mate, I was told rules where changed earlier this year so now you have to join a regular TA unit first, call the number on the web site for more details.

Rumour has it you must have done CIC to joint he northerners. Southerners must be bankers/hairdressers.

Not sure about 23 but with 21 you can still join as a civilian no need to go to another TA unit
As someone has said earlier. You need previous military experience to join any of the Reserve Special Forces now. I'm sure that is what it says on their website.

adj125 is correct.
23 require CIC.
