Alright lads thought id just touch base. Training is hard but good. Cant wait for some of the nobbers to leave. Word on the nodvine is that we are going to be the fittest troop on camp from the amount of thrashings we keep getting. Oh well can only get worse.
Parents day was a hang out but its nice to come back for some sleep. Training team are hoofing. Just looking forward to next weeks mud run
I think we will have to wait a while for the nobbers to be gone as there are so many of them, next week is going to be a hard week but just got to look forward to the weekend. After that there will only be 2 weeks till summer leave and after we get back from that maybe a few of the nobbers would have gone. There is just no discipline in our troop so next week i think it will start to arrive.

Alright lads. Since the topic of Parents Day has been touched upon, I'm looking for a wee bit of help. Can any of you who have just finished week 3 give me an idea of what time your parents need to be at CTC on Parents Day?
I'm sure this will be covered at the start of training, however, my parents are away on holiday for the whole of August and will need to get a heads up ahead of time so that things can be organised with work etc before they go away.
NUFC by anychance does your troop sargeants name begin with a T and have 7 letters and is pretty 'old school'? I think the man I am talking about went to that troop, if so good luck, god bless, and i know how it feels, oh i no!
We havent met our troop sergeant yet as he was in a skiing acident so is in traction at the moment. We have a welsh corporal standing in instead and he's nuts.
In answer to GBs question parents have to be at CTC for about 8.00-8.15 am
Alright mate yeh i heard its a hang out. Your troop is down to 33 now isnt it. I heard you keeping getting thrashed at night if you fark up in front of the cameras. Our troop got filmed the other day in close quater combat for the new royal marines promo vid.
Does anyone actually know what parents day entails? What do they do? Obviously they're not gonna be given a thrashing on bottom field (although perhaps it would be a good eye opener for mine ) are there demonstrations? displays? lecture? tour?
Well done Nufc, stick at it, it seems as though your enjoying it anyway so, just keep going!
you do some chad gym routine and then when the parents leave the gym you get thrashed with sprints... Thats a sort of 'regular occurance' on parents day, its like a tradition to let recruits know that the fun is about to begin....

Your also going to be filmed by our camera man on the mud run, because he actually did our mud run with us he didn't get the shots he needed or something, so hes filming your one. So when its on TV next year it will actually be 924 and 925's mud run but because of the mud nobody will be able to tell the difference.
