P - Coy video

Post by In_Training »

Alright lads,

I was having a bit of alook around the Paras forum and found this video http://www.channel4.com/fourdocs/archiv ... layer.html its 50 mins long but is quite good and shows some of their training.

NB: I dont know whether im really supposed to post this in the marines forum but at the end of the day its all pretty similar kind of stuff and just thought id let the rest of you know about it (moderators delete this thread if you want - not that you need my permission haha)

That should be a wakeup call to anybody joining the paras or the marines.

Definetly opened my eyes, nothing there I didn't expect, just differant seeing it to talking about it.

I know there's always an argument about who has the harder training between the paras and the marines, i'm sure both think theres is harder.

No doubt about it though, cherry berrys (pars) and cabbage heads (marines) are both hard as nails.
Never say never!!!!

From my knowledge, milling is an event unique to the para reg. But that doesn't mean you don't have to give it ago in your own time

If you look through one of the other P Coy threads mate someone has put a link to a Marine one, its not as good as the P Coy one. Not dissing the Marines, its just that its some journalist punter from FHM doing some excercises

Depends what connection you have. It doesn't download it to a file, it just streams it. Obviously some kind of broadband is needed..

I thought it was it interesting how the guy who nearly collapsed after the log race passed in the end, whereas the guy who looked 'fresh' after some other test failed. Makes you realise how much they value effort!

i was reading on one of the para forums when i was looking at different topics that the marines only do it in their spare time.....and its usually last thing on a saturday night over the last girl in the bar....was only a joke but it did make me laugh, i asked my mate about it he said you just basically "crack your own" as he put it and just have a bit of a fight but no milling as far as i know!
