General questions

Post by sean1987 »

Ive rencently applyed to join the navy. Sent my application form off on monday how long is it before i get a response will they say thanks for your application or will it well you when your appitude test is if they like your application. Is that the next step after applying or have i misssed a step. Im currently training for the fitness test from what ive been told its just a 1.5 mile run in under 11 minutes - im applying for mechcnical engineering submariner if that matters in the fitness test is this all i have to do before i get in or again have i misread something. Can someone give me the complete process and what it intails preferbley from personal experiance. Also a major worry is the medical what do they do ask do they request your med records from your gp - whats big no no's in your med history then as i have a few gremlins etc in there.

thanks in advance sean

Dont worry at all mate, chillax its all easy.

Filled the forms in, from there you will have:

Recruiting Test.

Interview. - Easy, have to be a dipstick to fail really..

Medical. - Just take your height, weight, strip to your knicks, let the doc feel you up  and a hearing test.
If you have no current problems and arent asked about certain something just dont mention it... so long as its not a problem now..

PJFT. - 11.13 is max time i think...

don't mention that you have had mild asthma in the past. such as when you were 1 years old and got it as a result of croup...... as that will ground you from flying.

although if you have had it up to a certain age and still stuff then you godda think about others.
