Toughest Pubs in Britain 3

Post by TheWedge »

I watched a bit of Toughest pubs 3 tonight (Sky three), it was the same brilliant format. The best bit was about a Para pub in Aldershot called The Pegasus. They said some Paras were doing a mental thing of stapling beer mats to each others heads!. One night a Bootneck came in and told them he was tougher than any of the paras in there, when told to prove it he proceeded to staple his bollocks to the bar......I guess you don't get much tougher than that!

Was the 'Mother Shipton' in Portsmouth on that programme?
Last one of these 'toughest pubs' programmes I watched it was number 2 or 3 which is apparently a load of rubbish becasue my dad live just down the road and says it's full of kids wearing Burberry caps.
Never been in there myself mind.

Bloody hell he is tougher than them all, he's tough for just going into a Para pub and saying he tougher, that guy has balls even if they were stapled to the table.

I seen one about a pub in Arbroath where the locals hate the Marines and always fight them, they have a trophy cabinet of Marines body parts, like broken teeth, biten of ears etc. MAD!!

These programmes just sensationalise and stir up feelings I don't know why they have to make them.

I am Pompey born:-) (Remember "Jo Spanners", guys? 8) ) and althought it's a harish town I really dislike the media's image in relation to football.

Still go to Pompey quite a bit and have never seen violence like that in London!

Maybe he took pain killers before he went in?

Pain killer? What, like morphine?

But if you didn't actually go through you're bollocks with it and just went through you're ball sack I can't imagine it hurting that much?!

take it with a pinch of salt, you cannot completely belive what is on the tv, those producers will twist a stroy so far that it actually looks a fantasy land unbelieveable load of tripe, i like the ones that are serious, but they pinpoint only certain areas.

mfat_man im sure you agree, since your hometown has been screwed by this sort of thing as well.

Guys, a staple through your nut sack, still not a very nice experiance, imagintion get involved in a fight and getting pushed, OUCH OUCH OUCH, you will lose your nuts if you aint careful there lol!!!!

ah man, dont talk about that, thats nasty, still, im sure he will have balls of steel now. He probably cut his hanging nut off and replaced it with a rifle shell knowing how mad paras can get lol.

Ah Marines and Paras, both hate and respect eachother so much. What a relationship they do hold!!! :D
