PRMC passes

Post by Felias »

Hi lads, just did mine and we had 28 passes in total out of 40-42 lads. just wondering what the average number of passes were.

Edit:Also where the most number of lads were lost.

WIth flying colours matey. For some reason the bleep test I did on my own was proper dodgy it was at lev 12 speed at lev 6(on my cd rocording). I got best situps of 87. But yes, I passed no problem. Thanks to guys on here giving me tips and heads up. I admit it I underestimated bottomfield and everyone got through it apart form 1 lad. I'm calling afco on monday to get a speedy joining date. The bloody food in the galley was superb compared to what I have at home. :D

BTW the corporals are a real laugh. just don't let them know your name. :o . They had some real fun with us on bottomfield, becusse it is leave time they decided to go for the full monty, it was tuckjumps after tuckjumps and star jumps(I had a forced grin on me face) . Still, Lympstone was great. Keep smiling.

Yep nice one mate. lots of the lads were like ex army and RMR and a athletic types. Pretty pleased as I only had 2 weeks to cram in as many hollow sprint runs as possible. :)

BTW, the corporals on my prmc were cpl James, King and Harrison

Yep, we lost 9 on the 3 miler. But some come in cheeky and leave early. Others come in humble and leave when they pass. I mean you would think, yeah..........3 miler no probs...........I can do X no of miles......Will piss it. that was the case with the 9 on our course. Got to admit, i suspect they moved it to day1 first period becuase thats where most guys come off?? Dunno??

Yeh my AFCO said they were losing up to 50% of the old course with the 3 miler on day 2 but a lad on mine who had got to week 20 something said new format felt just as bad.

Mate, wish I was starting training at the same time as you!! 24th april. That was my fisrt PRMC date until I changed it from 25th to 3rd. But yeah, the 3 miler which was moved is a good touch gets rid of no hoper quick. but then again leaves room for a painful day 2  I personally found day 1 to be no probs but day 2, leaves you in the morn with a false sense of security.... then you suddenly remember after breakfast.....deathslide...then a lovely warmup  Then to top it off a PTI who loves seeing lads sprint balls out.

I'll get a call from the AFCO on the 18th and hopefully get an answer then, if they give a quick date then I'll go for it, if not then itll be aholiday for me for a month(which I'll also train in)
