27 weeks to go!!!

Post by marine1 »

well ive just finished week five of training and im looking foreward to returning and cracking on with the remaining weeks. week five was by far the toughest so far as we had our third field ex quick cover which took place on woodbury common. this exercise included our first introduction to the infamous wet and dry routine which was delightful! to be honest though out of the three days we were on the ex we only had a couple of "thrashings". sorry fellas i must correct myself. thrashing is not the correct term, as our troop captain keeps reminding us. "its not a thrashing its remedial phys!" he says. we done a bit of blank firing aswell which was good fun.

Yeh phys aint so bad on that Ex, its all the kit inspections every morning that used to fark me off. But yeh good on you, keep at it, crack on, wont last forever, and before you know its you will be at Machiavellian's position with the green beret! :D

Crack on Royal!
