NAILED IT HAHAHAHAHA

Post by lew »

PRMC PFFFFFT, bring on the 30 miler

In all seriousness, was with out a shadow of a doubt, the hardest thing I’ve done to date. Sorry it took so long to report back  I was getting pished up with some of the other prmc lads on my room who passed.

They were filming a new prmc vid whilst we were doing bottom field and gym test 2, and yours truly should be in it 8) fame and fortune already aye .

Scores for all that are interested.

3-miler pass (this is the easiest part of it all)
Bleep - 11.7
Press-ups 45- had 5 knocked off, remember guys fully straighten those arms every time.
Sit - ups 50 (had at least 15 knocked off for elbows not touching top of my knees)
Pull ups - 2 (shit I know, I fell off)
Assault course - don’t know, but I passed it so who cares
Think that’s all of it.

Bottom field and gym test two are emotional, but remember it pays to be a winner, the cpls will notice if you win the sprints and mark it down as you putting the effort in.

Any questions fire away, will be happy to spend all of tomorrow answering them as I wont be walking anywhere much at all.

Cheers artist. Press ups, 45 officially, so that’s all that matters really. But un officially it was in the hundreds over the course I would say. I feel about 10ft tall atm, maybe that’s the 8 hours pish session I had on the way back from CTC, I don’t know.

Blair, best advice I can give you is this, dint jack, no matter how hard it gets. And don’t forget to take a sense of humour down there or you will die a slow and painful death  :P

GGHT, I trained for ages, but then i screwed up the RT test back in august of last year  so if I failed this I would of felt like a right plonker.

errr, pass rate was about 86%, we had a big course (50 including prmcd) and a very fit one by all accounts, no one jacked on bottom field (morning from hell as it was known to me and my drinking buddies) and no one jacked on gym test 2.

They are also interested in whether or not us hopefuls are toilet trained.

Awesome job Lew. I'll be seeing you down there soon!

Certainly am. The pain has all but gone now. Alcohol is a wonderful thing.

I'm looking at the first intake after summer leave I think.

Cogratulations Lew, well done on passing the PRMC. First step.
Try and remember what the atmosphere was like at CTC and tell the others about it.
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

Congrats Lew!!

I spoke to one of my mates from my PRMC on the phone today (he failed on my one but passed later). He is in week 2 of recruit training now (900 troop) and admits that foundation is shit. But he said that he has spoken to others on the latter stages of training and they said foundation was without a doubt the worst part of training they've had so far.

I also asked if he had seen any of the others we went on PRMC with. He said yes and they are on week 24 now!! REALLY frustrating for me cos I know that if I wasnt injured still, I'd be there too 'possibly' on week 24 too.

One bit of advice he said though was to bring an ironing board to CTC with you, cos apparently there aint many in foundation and you end up waiting ages for one.
(sorry for hijacking your thread Lew mate!!)

Congrats again
