I doubt they would want to know about it unless it was on your criminal record, If they're not going to see it when they security check you... then there is no point in telling them.

If its a warning it is not a criminal record. You shouldnt put anything down to confirm trouble with the police.

GoreD or DelD, can maybe help you more as they are police I believe.

Why not just phone up annonomously a DIFFERENT AFCO, your in edinburgh right ?

Well phone up the london AFCO, tell them your filling out the forms and then ask them if you need to put down your little 'run-in' with the police, Then ask them if it will actually affect the recruiting process at all, ie by them knowing you once got a police caution.

So tell me about your assaination attempt against
JFK.We know you were involved,You where in fact the gunman on the Grassy Knoll were you not?
You have the Right to remain silent until we beat a confession out of you

Tick "NO" write next to it "see below" and in the box provided for summary of convictions explain your personal circumstances. your honesty will will stand in your favour! HM Forces and their relevent Police agencies DO have access to this infomation anyway so holding back is not in your best interests at this stage in your military career!. The offence you mention is minor and would not ordinarily affect any application. No this would not be the last time you have to complete a Security Questionaire whilst in service!

Hope this helps!
