Hi mate,

Obviously this is gonna be quite different for the Marines, but when I was in the TA, in our webbing we had to carry -

- Enough food for 24 hours
- Magazines/ammo
- Waterbottle, cup
- Mess tins, kfs and hexeburner
- Literally anything else you can fit in there

Hope that helps.

6" nails for an emergency cooker as well, and a pair of seccaters for cutting gourse and the like for cam. A pace counter strapped onto your yoke and a carrabena (excuse spelling).

Cheers Ian

Webbing contents

WWW,

I've seen some people use a carabena for attaching their helmet to their webbing.

Don't worry about this, when in training, a list will be posted in your accomodation clearly marked CEFO (combat equipment fighting order), and everyone will be expected to pack their webbing & jet sacks accordingly. The post earlier was pretty accurate.

You might be encouraged to put a spare set of socks in your mess tin if space permits, then there's the BFA (for firing blank rounds) which would fit in your ammo pouch. Possibly paracord for signalling and/or establishing a harbour area.

WWW,

I've got a CEFO guide that I can email to you (it's a MS Word document). Send me your email address by PM and I'll try and send it tomorrow.

1) if you want to be a royal, learn to suck that up

2) its: (i) just don't quite know what yet.

before anyone has a dig at my lack of caps and probably inferior grammer/spelling: mines not intentional - this really is how i write all the time (except maybe with the caps  ).
