He must mean Revs Per Minute, the royal bicycle regiment.

Rev's short for revolution ie something turning. Most bicycles do that on both the pedals and the wheels.

I would have loved to have been in the AFCO when Ustarting called and asked about vacancies in the RPM. I'm sure the recruiter sensed great things were ahead of this applicant.

Perhaps that's why he's been told the job is closed at the moment.

Ustarting, we are only teasing, hopefully you are very embarrassed and in future will check your posts for errors before you submit them!
Goldie should be able to help with RMP questions, or if not, maybe suggest someone else who can.
Good luck!

Well it is for tandem cycles, as all the staff cars are going, and the driver will now be chief pedlar.

I'd love to see a guy riding a bike trying to fire off a couple of rounds from his GPMG or trying to lop a frag or 2...Advanced bike riders must pass tests and be ranked L.Cpl

Advanced riders can ride no hands and are proficient with operating all heavy infantry weapons while in motion!

We come from a little county,
But we muster a thousand men,
Recruited in town and village,
And away from the flat bleak fen;
We patrol the Eastern coast, sir,
We are the boys who do not shirk
Though the wind blows stiff
Yet we guard your cliff,
For that is the Hunts. boy’s work.

wind blows stiff
lmao world war one was dumb!
