Allergic to Penicillin

Allergic to Penicillin

On my medical appy my doctor wrote down that im allergic to penicillin. Will this hamper my Medical Review by the doctors?? Is penicillin often issued in the army?

It was actually only a CERTAIN type of penicillin but for the life of me i couldn't remember it...so the doc just put down Penicillin.

Other than that im 100% fit.

It won't affect your application.

You will get an extra disk for your dogtags stating what you are allergic to.

Unless you get shot and the wound gets infected, just make sure you have made your will out before going into action.

Well i actually came across what kind of penicillin it was.

AMOXICILLIN...suppose i should get the doctor to add that.

I'm allergic to Penicillin and usually get amoxycillin instead

It was never a problem either int he regs or the TA , just make sure you keep your socks on with the mucky girls and you wont need it

Is this still true of the Army?? Penicillin allergy wont affect entry??
