So long as you pass, in theory no; but they do look at it...aim for well under 10 minutes, most scores seem to be 8 and 9.30 mins. Let's face it, that's nothing compared to the rest of the crap you'll have to do when you get to PRMC.
You can vary the speed if you want, as you will get shown how to work the machine. However they will slow it down for you if you're about to fall off .
