When I was younger I had cancer. I had surgery, radiotherapy, and chemptherapy with no side affects and now I live a completely normal life. Would this prevent from joining the Marines even though it was in the past. I hope it won't as joining the Marines has always been an ambition of mine.

Not sure, logic would say it wont be a problem if youre fine now but best phone your AFCO and ask them.
An error only becomes a failure when you fail to learn from that error...adapt and overcome
