What happens on the PRMC and what happens if you fail something do they just send you home ?
Okay Jason, perfectly calm. Basically, read Gripper's diary (sticky topic top of this section, or on www.mfat.co.uk), that explains it. But they beast you to f**k, then expect you to perform, then they do it again the next day. If you fail, it's game over. Generally, you get two chances (ie. if you fail your first PRMC you'll be allowed to attempt another before they stop you applying). They have requirements for some things (press-ups, sit-ups, over-arm chin-ups, bleep test, 3-miler), but above all they want determination and will power throughout.
Granted the bible says that, but my AFCO assured me that two chances was the norm...however he is a Navy toff, no Marines at Chatham (ie, may be wrong!!). Having said that, if you reckon you need three chances, maybe you should start thinking about how much work you should do before you join?? (Not meant in any sort of bad sense, just that you should be going to pass first time every time, and if you don't think you can, you shouldn't be going in).
i agree with totally.....first time fair enough....send time just to lazy to train!!! you know what to expect..i geuss that the third is for injured etc who had no control over there previous generally.
