Sunman on Invisible.

Post by sunman »

Had a good night last night after receiving a little
card from The Captain and Officers of the Wardroom
HMS Invincible requesting the Pleasure of My Company
for cocktails on board.
The ship arrived yesterday here in Tenerife so I duly
obliged along with some friends.
Good to be back onboard with little or no restrictions lol.
Jack supplying the G and Ts and me slipping in a few dits.
Suprised how many Jennys on Board.
Allowed to smoke on the flight deck in between a couple of Harriers.
Memories flodding back whilst watching the Sunset ceremony. And
later back ashore having a meal with my oppos watching Jolly Jack,
Probably half a messdeck going ashore behaving like football hooligans singing songs and already p·····sed up.Great Evening.
Suffering today mind you.Uuuuugggghhhhh.

Aye Sunman 8) Cheers Jack :drinking: .
I'm just 2 people short of a threesome.

Magz,
that wouldn't be Longlegs Leonie would it.
Last seen last night chasing Jack along the
seawall clutching a gross box of the chemists
finest shouting 'Hey boys you forgot these'.

Self inflicted wound, still a chargeable offence
Im sure.
Only joking magz.I may well have done but
you should have told me before I went.
BTW for those who don't know a Gross is 144 in old money.

Harry,
when your as influential as I am on Foreign soil mate
you get invited to everything.
As you know Im the chairman of our merry band of
former servicemen here so it is imperative that I get
on these little jolleys.
Stickys Mates there was only 1 Royal on board Bert
and he was on the fiddle.BndC/Sgt.
Playing with a wren on the organ and jack doing an
Eric Clapton impersonation.
I went over to talk to him but on my approach he launched
into some old sea shanty on his fiddle,as my glass was nearing sandy bottoms,I thought Bo*****cks mate and went for a refill.
Didnt see him again all night.
or much else for that matter.

Further to my last, as anyone who`s been to Tenerife knows, the streets are lined with real Zulus selling very expensive watches( second only to sellers of Timeshares in popularity) Ron has the concession for Rolex
Several years ago, I purchased a Tag Heuer for the knock-down sum of 250Ptas, "Asda price mate."
Me last afternoon at work in UK has me and the other Contract Manager sat in the boardroom with our director, talking through my jobs. Our director, public skoolboy  had the very same watch. `Ere, Mike, can I see yer watch, I`ve always wanted one of those. He takes off the watch and slides it down the table. I started to examine it ,closely. "Is it waterproof?" Oh, yes, down to 200m. " I dropped it in me glass of orange juice. "Don`t do that!" he screamed. "You said it was waterproof" says I, fishing it out. "Look at the workmanship in the bracelette, is it shockproof?" "Oh yes, I never take it off" says he. I then proceeded to smash the watch to bits on the boardroom table, "Naw, that`s not shockproof mate. You best take it back." He shit himself as fourteen hundred pounds worth of watch lay in bits on the table. My oppo was staring at me, open mouthed. I gathered up the bits and wrapped them in a serviette, which I slid back down the table to my boss. He was dumbstruck. Slowly, he opened the serviette to reveal his watch, undamaged. Best 250 Ptas I ever spent. :P
Aye,
PS Boy`s Own Book Of Magic, chaper three, "Palming" and watching Tommy Cooper came in handy 8)
