Further to my last, as anyone who`s been to Tenerife knows, the streets are lined with real Zulus selling very expensive watches( second only to sellers of Timeshares in popularity) Ron has the concession for Rolex
Several years ago, I purchased a Tag Heuer for the knock-down sum of 250Ptas, "Asda price mate."
Me last afternoon at work in UK has me and the other Contract Manager sat in the boardroom with our director, talking through my jobs. Our director, public skoolboy

had the very same watch. `Ere, Mike, can I see yer watch, I`ve always wanted one of those. He takes off the watch and slides it down the table. I started to examine it ,closely. "Is it waterproof?" Oh, yes, down to 200m. " I dropped it in me glass of orange juice. "Don`t do that!" he screamed. "You said it was waterproof" says I, fishing it out. "Look at the workmanship in the bracelette, is it shockproof?" "Oh yes, I never take it off" says he. I then proceeded to smash the watch to bits on the boardroom table, "Naw, that`s not shockproof mate. You best take it back." He shit himself as fourteen hundred pounds worth of watch lay in bits on the table. My oppo was staring at me, open mouthed. I gathered up the bits and wrapped them in a serviette, which I slid back down the table to my boss. He was dumbstruck. Slowly, he opened the serviette to reveal his watch, undamaged. Best 250 Ptas I ever spent.
