I have a bloke claiming to be ex Green Beret and attached to Delta. Anyone got any questions I can ask him to catch him out?

Ask him the colour of the boathouse at Fort Bragg.

Sorry, coudn't resist :). I can't think of any questions which would immediately cath him out, though I think it's highly unlikely anyone with anything to do with delta would advertise it, unlike he's a sales rep for Delta airlines :). I suppose you could start by asking him the full anme of Delta (should be Special Forces Operational Detachemnt Delta, SFOD-D) though even if that is genuine at all any wannabe could find it out easily enough.

first thing just observe him you can soon figure out if he has the personality of a pecial forces dude.
if it was the first thing he told you he was probably bull shirting you

Could be wrong but I think the current denomination for 'delta' is CAG (combat applications group).
As a rule of thumb, if the guy says he is, he never was. There're exceptions, but very rare I think.

Ask him what Bo`s first name is. That, and to what rank did Bo rise to  In 67, who was the General in charge of II Field Forces and what were his thoughts about Blackjack Ops?( Who was Blackjack?) What part did Grungey play in the post-barby entertainment for the Officers Wives Club at Ban Me Tuot, in 74?
And before you ask Whitey, the answer is "No"
