hi could anyone tell me the differents between 40, 42 45.
and what does each offer.

This has been covered elsewhere, but the only difference is where they are based - all have the same skills, the same training etc, although in the past they had marginally different roles - 40 = ground assault, 42 = amphibious assault, 45 = mountain/arctic warfare.

Just because they're based in Scotland doesn't they're all about arctic warfare, its not that cold up here!! :P
