Ahoy there!
There certainly used to be. It was, as I recall, based at one of the RMR units. I can't remember which one though.

You can do swimmer Canoeist or BPT (ML) with RMR.

You do Phase 1A, Phase 1B to get green lid - bout a year
Phase 2 - Bout 4/5 months
Then get up to JNCO ( maybe another 3 years?)
Then apply for the course.

90% fail the first bit though. Be one of the 10%.

"Sank for the memory!"
or as sent to Bill Sparks on his 80th.
"In a two man canoe you're Captain and crew
Just messing about on the river
If you take my advice, there's nothing so nice
As messing about on the river!"

You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

well im based in Scouseland and we share our yard with RMR Mersey but i have to admit iv not spotted any SC insignia yet and iv been here a while.

so how many SBS reservists are there?? id say only a few dozen in total.

and as for the SC insignia itself, is it only NCOs that actually wear it in public? cos thats what iv heard.
