Dates for the 2003 POC

Post by Mathew »

Hello there,
This is my first post on this forum. I have been working through the various postings for several days now, and am seriously impressed by the camraderie that is so evident in these pages.
Anyhow, enough of that. I am in the process of applying for the POC. Because I'm living abroad, any correspondence takes a considerable amount of time. It has been implied on one of the posts that the POC is in mid January, and I am worried that my application will not be processed in time. So, does anyone know the exact dates of the POC in 2003? Furthermore, is the AIB held at a much later date? Is there another POC before the September 2003 intake? Does anyone out there have any advice on the application process in general? That should give me enough to mull over for a while. Thanks,
Mathew

As far as I know POC is only once a year and is in September! Double check by sending an Email to AFCO or give them a quick call.

From what I have gathered (possibly incorrectly) is that there are a good few POCs during the year and a couple AIBs. The Actual intake for those who has passed the above is at the start of September each year.

I ended up calling the Officer Career Liaison Centre in London. They confirmed that there are POC's throughout the year. Thanks for the replies. Does anyone who has been there feel like writing a POC diary? I'm sure there are other potential YO's who would greatly appreciate one!
