1 Para are based at RAF St Athan as part of Special Forces Support Group.

2 & 3 Para are based in Colchester and form the permanent core of 16 Air Assault Brigade which, as part of the Join Rapid Reaction Force, is able to be deployed quickly to anywhere in the world at short notice. (Look at Sierra Leone as a good example of this)

4 Para have various Company detachments based around the country. These are:

10 Coy based in London.

12 Coy based in Leeds, St Helens (which is your local det obviously) & Newcastle.

15 Coy based in Edinburgh & Glasgow.

Battle Honours are as follows:

Bruneval, Oudna, Tamera, Primosole Bridge, Normandy, Breville, Arnhem, Rhine, Southern France, Athens, Falklands & Iraq.

All you need to know is there based in colchester, part of 16 air assault brigade, how many battalions there are and recent deployments.
