Just done me 1.5
Just had a go at me run. Got 9.00 exact so atleast am in the allocated time. My hearts and lungs were goin like the clappers. Whats my best way to improve on it

Keep up the CV; short fast runs, long endurance runs, hill sprints and cycling/swimming etc.
You will improve in time. The sprinting stuff will help you get that time down quickly.
