Sorry to hear that Stig.
Still, if you get in as an airman you can always apply for Officer or Aircrew again in a few years.
Best of luck!

thats what i intended to do:D

i enjoyed my time there (all be it short)!

from my aptitude results the Sqn Leader told me my hand/foot coordination and maths skills where good enough for pilot.... its just that my other test results were "average" and they need to be above average!

my best score was for ATC which is ironic as my dad was an ATC haha!:D

Are you sure you understand the concept of irony?

You obviously don't...
It's never worth explaining if someone didn't get it.

Stig, have you decided on a trade yet? If you're looking to go Aircrew in a few years' time, then ASO is probably a good one to go for. Take your time deciding though, you don't want to rush into a job just to get into the RAF, make sure it's something you'll enjoy.

well im checking out my options this week, and im going to my AFCO on friday to get the application process started!

yer hopefully i have the aptitude for SNCO Fighter Controller..if not ASO like you said is a good one to apply for, as i could apply for aircrew in a couple of years (if i get in:P)!

but i also think that ASO or FC would be a really interesting career aswell, i'd have ATC as my 2nd choice as my aptitude scores from Cranwell was 101 for ATC (my highest one) so i'll see how it goes!:S

cheers Hyperlithe you've been very helpful! i'll message you if i have any questions etc.!:D
