Just thought I'd say Hi. Ive applied to Join the RAF Regiment (Gunner). Ive got my AST tomorrow Pretty confident I was just wondering if anyone knows if the interview is the same day? As im Travelling a very long way im assuming it will be any help would be appreciated.

Hi Stu,

If you are talking about the formal interview then i do not think it will be on the day you sit your AST's. When i did my AST's they take you in a room, give you your results and then you set a date for the interview.

Hi Luke,

Your rite there they did exacly what you said. I Passed the test by a wisker I was 2 short of scoring 35 But they applyed for a waver and got it I was hoping and praying when I left the AFCO And they called me back an hour later and gave me the good news I was chuffed to bit! Got my Interview On the 24th. Only prob is now Ive got to get over a groin injury so I can get my training going again.

What stage are you at Luke? Or are you already serving?
