Video Part Three
Paras Pathfinders In Hostile Country

Despite six years in Afghanistan, there are areas the ISAF forces have yet to reach. Travelling with the Paras Pathfinder unit north of the Kajaki dam, Stuart Ramsay found villagers whose last outside contact was with the Russians 20 years ago.

Are you done with the PF's or will you be heading back to them after your current job's done?

glad to see everyone enjoyed the footage. you have the sky cameraman to thank for the quality filming whilst under fire, steady as a rock, unlike the stu, the reporter who was hiding in the footwell of the vehicle the whole time!

im only in 1 bit of film im afraid, returning fire on my gpmg when some small arms fire came towards us. quite a nice little contact that one. we were all safe in the rally point ready to drive off when a mortar round landed 10M behind my vehicle...need i say we took off quite soon after that!

that vehicle rolling was a lucky escape aswell, the guys onboard saved by the .50 cal machine gun on top which stopped the vehicle rolling all the way down that steep slope.

52 degrees i measured here today....fcuking screw the nut!
