Kit List?

Post by Bear87 »

Hi my names Lee and I'm interested in joining the Army. I was wondering what the kit list is if you are joinin the infantry? I know that I will get a list at some stage but I want to make sure I am able to get everything. My application has been quite speedy so far. Thanks for your time.

You'll get issued everything you need for your training mate. There's no point buying a load of stuff because you don't even know if you're going to get in. Preparation is a good thing, but don't flap yet.
If you must buy something get a good Iron!! It's what you'll be using the most in your basic training ;)

I thought that before you join that they give you a list of things to get. Which is want I wanted to know, what was on the list then later on I was going to ask what other things that are not on the list would people advise on getting. Thanks.

BARB test, why? I know I've got a bit of a wait but I'm interested in what I may need to get and any other stuff I may need. Plus as I said the application process seems to go very fast where I am. By the way does anyone recomend a good iron?

Yeah mate, despite 2 Para trying to f*ck my paperwork so I went back with them! I'm looking forward to it. Got to go to Catterick for a couple of weeks first, but then I'm straight down there. Thought I'd better change avatar and get used to red instead of blue! Weird.

I typed it up from the kit list they give you before you join, I never added anything to it.
