hey I've just done my interview for the Royal Marines and failed because i didn't have a job for the passed year even though i was at college and my knowledge on the history wasn't to good so was just wondering because i assume the paras have an interview and was wondering what its like if its as bad as the Royal Marines one so if any one knows could you reply please

Yeah I belive they do have a few interviews it says on my info pack, I think off the top of my head theres 2 different interviews, one with someone at your ACIO, one with a senior officer at your ACIO and there is also a thing called and ice breaker (where you have to stand up in front of some members of the Parachute Regiment and tell them your reasons for wanting to join and what you hope to achive etc). Anyone correct me if im wrong.

mate i will assure you your interview with parra reg will be same as Royal.
ex nod was diagnosed with chronic compartment syndrome rejoining eventually.

currently in australia as im traveling the world before i rejoin the marines.

I hope they dont fail me too, cause I also have been at college for the past 2 years. :-?

get a grip they will not fail you because you have been to college they will fail you if your solid as an oak tree or they think your to imachure.

i will assure you your interview with parra reg will be same as Royal
Why do Para Rcts need to know Corps Memorable Dates and Corps History then, Fodders? :roll:

It`s not early signs of a merger is it :o

passed the interview was pretty easy compared to the marines got a date for adsc on the 8th

Long ago there where no interviews or a fitness test to get into the para's for training, all you had to do was breathe now again.
