I think the odds are it'll be sorted out peacefully.

The buildup is a good excuse for an exercise in the sand, and should war be necessary it's better to have everyone there than wait months.

I cannot see Saddam and all his hencemen walking away and leaving Iraq for some flea bitten hell hole of a third world country. But I would love him to do so as I believe that is the only way there will be a peaceful solution to this situation.

If Saddam is exiled to another country, how long before he has set up a terrorist organisation and gets his hands on more weapons. This time though he'll be harder to catch.....
Good luck to all the men and women on their way to the Gulf. God Bless

I'm guessing not. I think Saddam might just take the money and run. But what about all his cronies and extended family?? Wully, any flea-bitten Middle East country has got to be better than a bankrupt even more flea-bitten Iraq.

But who are the Yanks going to put in his place anyway? Another outstanding regime change like they put into Afghanistan?!??

I still think it could be a case of "once bitten, twice shy" theres a huge force in the area now which I dont think even Saddam can ignore! With the sheer large scale of personell out there how many other country's are likely to get involved?

Lets just keep are fingers crossed that what ever happens it done properly with minimum casualty's.

I dont think this has got anything to do with the fact that iraq has oil or because Bush is the owner of an oil exploration company which would benefit from the yanks taking over. I would like to think that S H would leave the country :fist: but dont think he will. He probably has all the wells rigged to explode. 0X That will dent the ozone layer a bit :o Tony wont be very happy about that will he. Fingers crossed all friendly forces come through this unscathed
