Does anyone here know how good/bad this career path is? I like the idea of police, it's role etc but I don't wanna be chasing after drunk soldiers and I don't want to get killed by some Iraqi mob after serving 3 months or so. I want to do 4 years and specialise, not die young having done nothing.

C4 You are a total prick, look back on this post and think about what you have posted ffs, you have got my back up on nearly every post you make as they are total crap and now you dare to mock the 6 RMP who were killed in June 2003 in Majar-al-Kabir, get your student head out of your arse be a man and join up then when you have earned the right to gob off crack on but until then do me a big favour you silly little boy and sod off!

Agreed, this boy is an absolute stroker and no mistake. Hopefully he will quietly f@#k off now, but somehow I doubt it.

I just wanted to know about the + and - points of the job. I didn't mention anything about those 6 RMP killed. I'm just telling you I want a full and lengthy career thankyou.

C4, just listen to me...don't get worked up over them lot. Be careful what you say.
Plus points to RMP- A great job to do, being a redcap is a true role of responsibility. You control whats going on (making sure the lads don't get into trouble), provide security, close protection, etc. I have a mate who's 23 and he loves the job.
Downers- Chasing the drunk privates is part of the job that you would do in normal life if you think about it. There will be days when it seems dull but the excitement will always make a come back. The job can be dangerous but remember this is the army. If you don't want to be at risk of some Iraqi mob then don't join the RMP. Join a civilian police force.[/u]

You've landed yourself in it now haven't you?
RMP goldie always will stab at you if you say anything bad or offensive. The reason? They've seen some nasty stuff.

Why are you indulging this stroker? Do you honestly want someone like this anywhere near the armed forces? As for the civvie police...take it from me (serving), you'd not be welcome with your ridiculous attitude. Get a job doing something else.
I don't wanna be chasing after drunk soldiers and I don't want to get killed by some Iraqi mob after serving 3 months or so.
Unbelievable, just unbelievable. Who the f@#k do you think you are!!!
I don't want to be chasing drunk soldiers.....what do you think the POLICE do for a large proportion of their time? So, no police for you.
I don't want to get killed by some Iraqi mob after serving 3 months or so......what do you think is a high chance when you join the ARMY you twat!!! So, no army either.
Get a job that involves turds and mouths...trust me, you'd be the perfect man for the job.
P.s I f@#k
knew you'd still reply. I ficking know you'll reply to this one as well.

Cammy, chill.
You just have to point out certain things to people who get confused now and then. You're getting worked up over some person who can't watch what they say- sensitive stuff to people on here.

Nice one, you ask a supposed 'serious question' about becoming an RMP and how you 'like the idea' and you didn't mean anything against the guys who were killed. Then you attack Goldie because he is 'merely' an ex RMP! What you lack (apart from a brain that appears to exist merely to perform motor-functions) is any respect. You ask about a particular career, then slag it of as if it is beneath you. Trust me on this one, as someone who has done all things you are asking about, you will never, never, never accomplish anything and you will never be a part of anything you are asking about simply because you are quite clearly incapable of doing it. I'm speaking from something you patently have absolutely none of...experience.
Now listen carefully and please don't take this the wrong way....f@#k OFF

I do hope you are about 12 year's old. then at least that gives you time to learn to think and get your sh!t together before you sign on any dotted line.
